Participate in Our Research Study
We are studying how people understand, adapt, and evaluate casual game systems when the design tools are embedded directly inside play.
Your Task
Participants will install Paravida, play a short set of included games, then use the design panel to adjust rules such as scoring, movement, difficulty, timing, and win conditions. THe main task is to explore the design space and creating casual games you like or think somebody else would like.
After creating or adapting a game, participants will play-test their result and answer short reflection questions about the choices they made.
In terms of collected data, we only collect simple deographics and design choices made in the app. See the privacy policy for a full description.
- The study can be completed remotely on a iPAD or iPhone (min. requirement iOS 15.0).
- No programming or prior game design experience is required.
- Participation is voluntary and can be stopped at any time.
- No fixed time commitment.
